Abigail Joseph attended Brown University where she studied painting under renowned
artist, Walter Feldman, with the honor of receiving the Weston Fine Arts Award upon
graduation. She also studied portrait and landscape painting at the Rhode Island School
of Design and continued her studies as she lived and traveled throughout Italy. Always
intent upon honing the fundamental skills involved with drawing and painting, Abigail
most recently studied at the Barnstone Studios.

A native of Chester County, Pennsylvania, Abigail has returned to this area where the
beauty of the landscape never fails to inspire her painting and is apparent in much of
her work. Currently represented by the Newman Galleries in center city, Philadelphia,
Abigail also participates in various shows and exhibitions in Southeastern Pennsylvania
including the Yellow Springs Art Show, Devon Horse Show, and Rittenhouse Square
Fine Arts Show.
